I once translated a post about how to rank at first page. In this post, I told you to build your back links. There are six ways to build your back links. I recommend you to submit your blog to Dmoz, a great open directory project. No doubt that dmoz is the best choice to build your back links and let your blog find by search engines. But you may want to try some other web direct systems for more back links.
We have many choices. For the free web directories, Dmoz is the best choice. The Yahoo directory is another best choice while it cost you some big money to be listed in. For our bloggers, we surely want to be listed in some of these web directories. But as we don’t aim at make money by blogging, we don’t want to pay much for this. While, we all know that more back links have effective impact on SEO, we want to submit to web directories. So how can we submit to free web directory or how can we let our blog be listed for less money ? I have four ideas for you.
First, you should write your post by your heart. As all seoers says, you contents comes first. I think any web directories will never refuse a site such as google or yahoo. So, build your great blog by your unique thinking and web directory will list your blog.
Second, make a relationship with the editors. Some web directories like Dmoz are edited by volunteers. The may willing to list friends’ website in this great directory.
Third, submit your blog more than one time. So the editors will think you are willing to build your blog much better and may sometimes add your blog.
Four, find some business web directory and pay for list. If you have tried all the three ideas and don’t get a good result, you should submit your blog to some business web directory.
